The Council for Inclusive Capitalism, a then newly launched global nonprofit, wanted to harness the potential of the private sector to create a more inclusive, sustainable, and trusted form of capitalism. In order to do so, they needed to raise awareness of the Council amongst key business and media audiences, increase their membership, and establish ongoing thought leadership in a tense political and media environment.
Public Relations and Communications Strategy
Matter Unlimited created a year-long awareness campaign that aimed to educate and excite audiences on the business potential of a more sustainable and just form of capitalism.
We launched a LinkedIn Newsletter called Business At Its Best, which organically grew to more than 1100 subscribers in the first four months; secured and published an op-ed in Reuters that drew attention to COP27 and the Council’s Just Energy Transition Framework; and secured ongoing media coverage in targeted industry outlets, such as Sustainable Future News and Net Zero Investor.
